ROLE SUMMARY
We are seeking a senior Versa SD-WAN Platform Architect to lead the engineering, lab, and certification team responsible for validating Versa SD-WAN releases for a large-scale service provider environment. The architect will provide technical leadership across platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, release certification, lab strategy, testing, defect management, and production readiness.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Versa SD-WAN, cloud networking, routing and switching, and carrier-grade network operations, with the ability to lead architects, engineers, and test specialists through end-to-end certification programs.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Versa SD-WAN
• 5+ years of hands-on Versa SD-WAN experience
• Versa Director, Controller, Analytics, Concerto/Arbiter, and FlexVNF
• SD-WAN architecture, segmentation, multi-tenancy, security, and service chaining
• Release upgrades, migrations, and platform lifecycle management
Cloud & Infrastructure
• AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform networking
• Cloud-hosted SD-WAN platforms
• Virtual networking, compute, storage, and security architectures
• Linux/Ubuntu administration
Network Engineering
• Strong expertise in enterprise and service provider networking, including routing, switching, WAN technologies, network security, and cloud networking.
• Experience with BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VRF, IPSec VPNs, QoS, traffic engineering, and application-aware routing.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead the overall Versa SD-WAN platform certification and release validation program.
• Define certification strategy, test scope, lab architecture, and release acceptance criteria.
• Provide technical leadership for platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, and CPE certification activities.
• Lead architecture reviews for Versa Director, Controller, Analytics, Concerto/Arbiter, and FlexVNF components.
• Drive upgrade, migration, rollback, HA, resiliency, and disaster recovery validation activities.
• Manage technical engagement with Versa Product Engineering, TAC, and customer engineering teams.
• Review certification results, defect trends, risks, and mitigation plans.
• Mentor and guide engineers responsible for lab build, automation, and certification testing.
• Provide final technical signoff for production readiness and deployment recommendations
