Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer II to research, develop, edit, and maintain complex technical documentation. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical writing and editorial skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure documentation meets quality, accuracy, and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research, write, edit, and maintain complex technical documents and related materials.
  • Ensure documentation adheres to established standards for quality, accuracy, formatting, graphics, and style.
  • Collaborate with technical writers, illustrators, subject matter experts (SMEs), editors, and other stakeholders to develop and refine content.
  • Coordinate the preparation, review, and editing of technical drafts to ensure consistency and completeness.
  • Support the publishing and distribution of documentation across multiple formats and media platforms.
  • Maintain current knowledge of assigned technical subject areas to ensure documentation remains accurate and relevant.
  • Participate as an active member of project teams, providing documentation support throughout project lifecycles.
  • Track and manage documentation through creation, review, approval, publication, revision, and archival processes.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with organizational standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.

Qualifications

  • Experience in technical writing, editing, or documentation management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Experience working with document management and publishing tools.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and technical documentation software.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting engineering, technology, telecommunications, or related technical environments.
  • Familiarity with documentation lifecycle management and publishing workflows.
  • Knowledge of industry standards for technical documentation and content management.
