Job Summary:
V Group is seeking two highly experienced Senior ServiceNow Developers / ServiceNow Engineers to support a major modernization initiative for the U.S. Department of Navy / Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) at Naval Base San Diego.
The selected candidates will be responsible for migrating legacy Oracle APEX applications to ServiceNow, implementing and enhancing ServiceNow ITSM capabilities, developing custom applications using ServiceNow App Engine, automating workflows using Flow Designer, developing enterprise integrations, and supporting deployment and production activities.
The role requires strong hands-on ServiceNow development and administration experience, integration expertise, knowledge of security and identity management, and the ability to work directly with government stakeholders in a military environment.
Responsibilities:

Lead the migration of legacy Oracle APEX applications and business processes into ServiceNow.

Design, develop, configure, and maintain custom ServiceNow applications using App Engine.

Configure and support ServiceNow ITSM capabilities, including Incident, Request, Service Catalog, and Knowledge Management.

Design and automate business workflows using ServiceNow Flow Designer.
-
Develop and maintain integrations using REST APIs and SOAP Web Services.
-
Perform data mapping, migration, transformation, validation, and reconciliation activities.

Implement and maintain SSO, SAML, LDAP, MFA, RBAC, and field-level security controls.
-
Ensure appropriate protection of PII and sensitive government data.

Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical ServiceNow solutions.

Conduct stakeholder workshops, requirements sessions, and technical discussions.

Design technical architectures, workflows, integrations, and solution documentation.

Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Provide project status updates, progress reports, and technical recommendations.

Perform peer reviews and ensure adherence to ServiceNow development standards and best practices.

Support application testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and production release activities.

Deliver end-user training, workshops, and structured knowledge transfer sessions to government personnel.

Collaborate with government stakeholders, technical teams, business users, and project leadership.

Support ServiceNow platform administration and ongoing enhancements.

Perform additional duties as assigned in support of the modernization initiative.
Required Experience:

Minimum 5 years of overall IT experience.

Minimum 3 years of hands-on ServiceNow development and administration experience.

Experience implementing and configuring ServiceNow ITSM modules.

Experience developing applications using ServiceNow App Engine.

Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer.

Experience migrating legacy systems and business processes into ServiceNow.

Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into technical solutions.

Experience working directly with business users, stakeholders, and leadership teams.

Experience delivering end-user training, workshops, and knowledge transfer sessions.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Federal, DoD, Navy, military, or defense contractor experience is highly preferred.
