Responsibilities

AI Opportunity Identification:

  • Analyze manufacturing workflows and operational data to uncover areas where AI can drive efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize AI use cases based on business impact and feasibility.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and ROI assessments for AI initiatives.

Requirements Gathering & Translation:

  • Work closely with area Managers, Engineers, and IT teams to gather detailed business requirements.
  • Translate operational needs into clear, actionable specifications and Business requirements for data science and development teams.


AI Solution Design & Implementation

  • Partner with data scientists and engineers to develop and deploy AI models (e.g., predictive maintenance, defect detection, demand forecasting).
  • Ensure AI solutions integrate with MES, ERP, and other Mfg. systems.
  • Support the development of data pipelines and ensure data integrity for model training and inference.


Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as a liaison between plant personnel and technical teams.
  • Present findings and recommendations in a clear, business-friendly manner.
  • Provide training and support on AI tools and dashboards.

Standardization & Scalability:

  • Develop frameworks and templates to standardize AI solutions across multiple manufacturing sites.
  • Promote best practices for AI deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

Project Management

  • Lead AI-related projects from concept to deployment.
  • Track milestones, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Document lessons learned and contribute to AI best practices.


Required Experience

  • Bachelor Degree: Computer Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or related.
  • 3+ years in business analysis or operations analytics, preferably in a mfg. environment.
  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML projects (e.g., computer vision, predictive analytics).
  • Familiarity with mfg systems (MES, SCADA, ERP) and data platforms (SQL, Power BI).
  • Experience with process mapping, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement, methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • English 80%
  • JIRA, Phyton, Azure machine learning, SQL, Power BI, Office Windows: Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio.
  • Development tools. Visual Studio .NET core is a a plus.
  • RPA tools, SCADA systems, MES (Mfg. execution Systems)
