Summary
Role: Analytics Enablement Business Systems Analyst
Experience: Minimum 10+ Years
Location: Portland, OR Hybrid
We are looking for an experienced Analytics Enablement Business Systems Analyst to support enterprise analytics initiatives within the healthcare domain. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data analysis, SQL, data onboarding, source to target mapping, and analytics enablement to help accelerate data platform adoption.
Responsibilities
Partner with analytics teams to onboard new data assets into the enterprise data platform.
Support data ingestion, data foundation, and analytics enablement initiatives.
Perform data analysis and develop complex SQL queries to support business requirements.
Create and maintain source to target mappings, data dictionaries, and business documentation.
Collaborate with engineering teams to identify reusable enterprise data models, views, and tables.
Work with data transformation tools including Alteryx, Talend, and DBT.
Support data validation, testing, and quality assurance activities.
Understand healthcare data including claims, enrollments, providers, and related business processes.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver scalable analytics solutions.
Follow Agile development methodologies and support continuous process improvements.
Required Skills
Minimum 10+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Data Analyst.
Strong SQL and data analysis expertise.
Experience with data ingestion, data mapping, and source to target mapping.
Experience creating data dictionaries, product documentation, and user guides.
Hands on experience with Alteryx, Talend, or DBT.
Strong understanding of healthcare data including claims and enrollment.
Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Artificial Intelligence and Agentic workflows.
Knowledge of data testing and validation.
Experience supporting system migration initiatives.
Strong focus on automation, repeatability, and enterprise data solutions.
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field. Relevant technical certifications are an added advantage.
