RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Web Analytics Lead in San Francisco, CA.
Responsibilities:
* Partner with Product and UX teams to define success metrics for new features and digital experiences
* Design, evaluate, and interpret website experiments across the customer journey
* Recommend appropriate measurement approaches when randomized A/B testing is not possible
* Identify customer friction and prioritize opportunities across homepage, search, product pages, cart, checkout, and other digital experiences
* Quantify the impact of product investments and support roadmap prioritization
* Apply advanced experimentation, incrementality, and causal measurement methodologies to evaluate business impact
* Use approaches such as matched control groups, quasi-experimental design, difference-in-differences, synthetic controls, cohort analysis, time-series intervention analysis, and driver decomposition where appropriate
* Develop measurement frameworks for initiatives where traditional test-and-control methods are not feasible
* Separate correlation from causation and clearly communicate analytical limitations and confidence levels
* Determine the most appropriate methodology based on the business question rather than defaulting to standard reporting
* Analyze raw clickstream and event-level data using SQL to uncover customer behavior patterns and business opportunities
* Reconstruct and evaluate customer journeys across sessions, devices, channels, and digital experiences
* Identify behavioral signals associated with conversion, retention, engagement, and customer value
* Evaluate the impact of pricing, promotions, merchandising, assortment, inventory availability, and product experience on customer behavior and business outcomes
* Diagnose revenue and conversion changes across product categories, customer segments, devices, channels, and journey stages
REQUIREMENTS:
* 7+ years of experience in Product Analytics, Ecommerce Analytics, Decision Science, Advanced Analytics, or a related field
* Strong retail ecommerce experience and a deep understanding of digital customer journeys
* Advanced SQL skills with experience analyzing large-scale clickstream or event-level datasets
* Experience designing, evaluating, and interpreting website experiments
* Experience with Adobe Analytics, Customer Journey Analytics, or a comparable digital analytics platform
* Experience translating complex analysis into clear business recommendations
* Strong understanding of statistical analysis, experimentation, incrementality, and causal measurement
* Strong communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills
* Ability to independently frame ambiguous business questions and develop rigorous analytical approaches
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with Python or R for analysis
* Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or similar analytical data platforms
* Familiarity with advanced measurement methodologies such as synthetic controls, matched markets, difference-in-differences, propensity-based matching, or time-series intervention analysis
* Experience with retail merchandising, pricing, promotions, assortment, inventory, or margin analytics
* Experience working with large-scale customer journey and clickstream datasets
* Experience supporting personalization, recommendations, search, or digital product optimization
* Familiarity with variance-reduction methods and advanced experimentation techniques
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
