Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Python Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python-based frameworks, distributed systems, API development, cloud technologies, and microservices architecture.

You will lead development initiatives, mentor junior developers, and contribute to architectural decisions in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend applications using Python

• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices

• Optimize application performance and scalability

• Lead code reviews and enforce coding best practices

• Architect distributed systems and cloud-native solutions

• Integrate third-party APIs and services

• Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices

• Mentor junior and mid-level developers

• Collaborate with Product, DevOps, QA, and cross-functional teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related STEM field

• 5+ years of professional experience in Python development

• Strong understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and System Design

• Expertise in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns

• Experience developing scalable and high-availability systems
