STV is seeking a CAD Technician with 5+ years of experience to support transportation and infrastructure projects. Position Responsibilities- Develop, update, and maintain roadway and transportation design drawings and models using OpenRoads, OpenBuildings, MicroStation, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD.
- Produce plans, profiles, cross-sections, and construction documents in accordance with project requirements and applicable standards.
- Collaborate with civil engineers and BIM leads to translate engineering concepts into coordinated CAD/BIM deliverables.
- Perform QA/QC checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with state DOT, transit agency, and federal standards.
- Manage, organize, and maintain project files using ProjectWise or similar document management systems.
- Support coordination across disciplines and assist with design updates throughout various project phases (concept through construction).
Required Qualifications- Associate's degree or technical certification in CAD, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience supporting civil or transportation engineering projects.
- Proficiency working within Bentley Open products and AutoCAD-based platforms.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers using CAD and BIM workflows, including Revit when required.
- Experience supporting projects for MTA, Port Authority, NJ Transit, and/or NYSDOT.
- Strong ability to interpret engineering plans, specifications, and design standards.

Compensation Range:
$95,975.90 - $109,686.74
