Sr Developer

job summary:

For this contractor assignment, you'll participate in innovative projects impacting our customers, agents, and employees. Working in a fast paced, collaborative environment, you'll contribute to projects to modernize and grow our business. In addition, you'll work closely with groups in both IT and our business areas on project initiatives. Using your development skills, you'll code in a variety of technologies supporting web and backend systems. You'll provide insights and contribute to decisions impacting the platforms.

responsibilities:

- Analyzing requirements for software programs

- Writing or modifying code for complex programs, components, or applications

- Writing/performing development testing (i.e. unit testing, test-driven development - TDD)

- Creating and maintaining documentation

- Researching complex technical problems and recommending solutions.

qualifications:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Minimum of 7 years related work experience programming and supporting software applications.

- {OR} Completion of a technical training program and 4 years related work experience programming and supporting software applications.

- {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher in an Information Technology related field of study and 4 years related work experience programming and supporting software applications.
