Position Overview
Seeking an Agile-focused AWS Program Manager with 6–8 years of experience to drive cross-team coordination and program delivery across multiple technical tracks. This role focuses on governing AWS cloud-based initiatives, facilitating sprint mechanics, steering stakeholder engagement, and overseeing technical risk and cost governance structures.
Key Responsibilities
* Cross-Team Program Coordination: Oversee and synchronize project lifecycles across 1–3 distinct engineering teams, tracking interdependencies and accelerating delivery timelines.
* Agile Program Governance: Lead Scrum or SAFe Agile ceremonies, including high-level release train syncs, cross-team sprint planning, and systematic backlog grooming sessions.
* Cloud Architecture & Cost Governance: Track, analyze, and manage AWS resource utilization and cost governance frameworks, ensuring alignment with budgetary baselines.
* Risk & Dependency Management: Proactively identify, catalog, and mitigate technical programmatic risks, roadblock items, and multi-team cross-dependencies.
* Executive Stakeholder Communication: Formulate status reporting models, variance matrix tracking, and program dashboards to provide regular progress updates to senior leadership.
* Technical Documentation Review: Provide comprehensive governance oversight for internal platform roadmaps, solution design architectures, and technical documentation templates.
Required Skillset
* Experience: 6–8 years of professional experience, specifically highlighting 5–7 years of successful background coordinating and delivering AWS services-based projects.
* Cloud Framework Exposure: Meaningful functional familiarity with core AWS cloud services, architectures, and ecosystems (including Amazon Bedrock, AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and IAM).
* Agile Frameworks & Tools: Proficient tracking delivery workflows utilizing the Atlassian suite (Jira / Confluence). Practical expertise navigating Scrum or SAFe Agile mechanics.
* Communication & Documentation: Elite written and verbal communication layout design, with a history of writing and structuring professional executive reports.
* Preferred Credentials: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner and Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) designations are highly desirable.
