Playwright Automation Test Engineer. Agentic Gen AI/Claude through PoC or implementation is a plus. He/she needs to work in hybrid model, at least 3 days from Whippany NJ office. Note: Someone who can handle the work pressure and comfortable in working two shifts for two projects Rate: $50-$52 W2/hr. IBM/Barclays Job Description: 8+ years of relevant experience Test Development: Create, maintain, and execute automated UI and API test scripts using Playwright. Experience in Selenium and API test Automation. Framework Design: Build or enhance scalable, reusable automation frameworks. CI/CD Integration: Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git) for continuous testing. Cross-Browser Testing: Validate web application functionality across Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit. Collaboration & Quality: Partner with developers to analyze PRDs, identify gaps, and ensure high test coverage. Defect Management: Analyze test results and report bugs using tools like Jira. Required Skills and Qualifications Core Technical Skills: Strong hands-on experience with Playwright. Languages: Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript. Testing Types: Experience with UI testing, API testing (REST/JSON), and backend validation. Tools & Technologies: Knowledge of Docker, cloud testing platforms (BrowserStack/Sauce Labs), and BDD frameworks like Cucumber. Methodology: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
