This IT modernization initiative is a critical component of ensuring the effectiveness and security of our nation's law enforcement operations.

We are looking for an experienced MECM Engineering Lead to join our team on this new contract. We invite skilled and passionate individuals to join us in support of this transformative mission.

The Opportunity:
  • Lead enterprise MECM engineering efforts supporting a high-visibility federal law enforcement modernization program.
  • Influence and execute the Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) strategy across a nationwide distributed environment.
  • Blend hands-on technical leadership with operational oversight to ensure secure, scalable, and efficient endpoint management.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity and modernization teams to strengthen infrastructure, enhance security posture, and improve user experience.
  • Contribute to a mission-critical initiative central to USMS operational readiness.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead administration, engineering, and optimization of the enterprise MECM environment.
  • Manage software deployments, patch cycles, OS updates, and configuration baselines supporting thousands of endpoints.
  • Build, refine, and maintain task sequences, collections, and deployment configurations for OS and application delivery.
  • Oversee OS imaging, driver packages, hardware validation, and refresh/upgrade cycles.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex deployment, client health, and MECM infrastructure issues.
  • Monitor MECM performance, security posture, and compliance across all districts.
  • Implement and maintain best practices for routine, emergency, and zero-day patching operations.
  • Deploy, test, and validate applications to ensure compatibility, compliance, and secure operation.
  • Coordinate enterprise patching cycles to meet defined timelines and security requirements.
  • Develop automation scripts (primarily PowerShell) to streamline administrative tasks, enhance reporting, and improve deployment efficiency.
  • Lead and mentor a team of senior and mid-level MECM engineers and administrators.
  • Partner with cybersecurity, ITSM, service desk, and program leadership to align endpoint management with enterprise and federal requirements.
  • Support overall UEM strategy, modernization initiatives, and continuous improvement activities.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of MECM/SCCM architecture, engineering, or administration experience.
  • Strong background in OS deployment, driver management, and configuration baselines.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, batch, or similar tools).
  • Strong understanding of endpoint security, compliance, patching, and UEM concepts.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience guiding, mentoring, or managing technical teams.
  • Experience working within federal, regulated, or secure IT environments.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (TS preferred).

Desired:
  • Experience supporting DoJ or law-enforcement mission environments.
  • Advanced PowerShell automation or workflow engineering skills.
  • Certifications such as MD-102, AZ-104, Security+, or ITIL 4.
  • Experience integrating MECM with security tools, compliance systems, or cloud-based endpoint solutions.
