Senior Java Fullstack Developer (Contract)

**Hybrid onsite 3x a week

Our client is a Livingston, NJ client seeking a senior-level Java developer. The team is undergoing a major migration to a modern Java-based microservices platform. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, hit-the-ground-running developer with strong backend experience and some front-end exposure using StencilJS.

Required Skills & Experience

7+ years of professional software development experience with expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture
Hands-on experience with Kafka
Experience working with MongoDB
Front-end experience with StencilJS (or willingness to ramp up quickly from React)
Familiarity with GenAI tools (developer productivity, integrations, or experimentation)
Proven ability to work independently and contribute immediately in a fast-paced environment
