Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Administrator with strong expertise in IBM z/OS system administration and infrastructure support. This role focuses on managing, maintaining, and securing enterprise mainframe environments.
Important: This is a Mainframe Admin role only – NOT for Developers or Testers.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and support IBM z/OS operating systems
Perform installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrades
Handle z/OS version upgrades and system sustainment
Manage mainframe security & compliance (Top Secret/TSS)
Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system stability
Collaborate with infrastructure teams on complex issues
Perform system IPL and environment management
Required Skills:
8+ years of Mainframe Administration experience
5+ years of experience in IBM z/OS OS & infrastructure
Strong knowledge of Mainframe Security (TSS)
Experience with system upgrades, maintenance, and troubleshooting
Technical Skills:
z/OS, CICS, DB2, Easytrieve, ChangeMan, Endevor, MQ, ESP, dSeries, Systemware, Content Cloud, System IPL
