Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance department supporting the Main Street Plant. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Frankfort, MI
Pay Range: $19-21/hr plus $2/hr shift premium for nights if applicable.
Shift: 7:00am-7:00pm OR 7:00pm-7:00am / Schedule is 2 days on, 2 days off with rotating weekends.
What\'s the Job?
\t- Perform general maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and fabrication work across various plant areas \t
- Maintain electrical systems, plumbing, and heating/refrigeration equipment \t
- Repair and service forklifts, batteries, and related machinery \t
- Conduct preventive maintenance on production equipment and plant infrastructure \t
- Generate, update, and close out work orders efficiently and accurately
What\'s Needed?
\t- High School diploma or equivalent \t
- Proficiency in basic math, reading, and writing skills \t
- Experience with common hand tools and power tools, following OSHA safety guidelines \t
- Ability to operate, repair, and maintain machinery safely \t
- Ability to carry 50 lbs, ability to work from elevated surfaces including ladders or platforms, 20-20 vision (may use corrective lenses), and ability to see/differentiate all primary colors
