Position: Project Manager IV

Location: Chicago IL(Hybrid)

UX Project Manager (Mid-level)

• The UX PM will support project planning and deliverable management across multiple projects, supporting the delivery. Works with UX team members to create project timelines and monitors progress of UX deliverables. Manages and tracks project timelines and staffing for one or several verticals. Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, business stakeholders and IT delivery PMs.

Responsibilities:

• Track UX timelines and project delivery
• Create Project Kick-off materials and facilitate kick-off meetings
• Develop and drive high-level project milestones and detailed project plan
• Assist in managing project backlogs, participating in sprint planning and grooming
• Clear communication of project plans, status, and critical issues to project stakeholders and sponsors
• Partner with Portfolio Managers and UX lead to maintain UX roadmap
• Assist project to completion through defined stage gates, deliverables, and approvals
• Remove roadblocks by identifying issues early and proactively identifying solutions and escalating as appropriate
• Create and distribute project status documents communicating timelines, blockers, and decision logs
• Tracking and reporting on run rates of our team in Plan Plus

Skills:

• 5-7 years of experience as a PM
• Design or UX Experience preferred
• Strong business acumen
• Agile experience/certification
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hectic, and energetic environment
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to develop productive working relationships with resources and dependent teams
• Demonstrated willingness to go above and beyond to chase down loose ends and deliver projects on time, with expected feature sets
• Managed multiple, concurrent projects involving cross-functional groups, from planning, coordination, risk mitigation, and drove those projects through to deployment.
• Exhibit appropriate levels of urgency
• Experience with GitHub, ADO, JIRA preferred
