Department: Cybersecurity, Risk & Compliance
We are seeking an experienced GDPR Compliance Readiness & Assessment Consultant to evaluate, assess, and guide enterprise organizations through data privacy and regulatory compliance initiatives aligned to the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This individual will perform system readiness assessments, identify compliance gaps, evaluate business processes and technologies handling personal data, and provide strategic remediation recommendations across IT, security, legal, and operational teams.
The ideal candidate combines strong knowledge of privacy regulations, cybersecurity controls, enterprise systems, governance frameworks, and risk management methodologies with the ability to communicate effectively to both technical and executive stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, Risk Management, or related field
5+ years of experience in:
GDPR compliance
Security assessments
IT governance
Risk & compliance
Privacy consulting
Strong understanding of:
GDPR regulations
Data privacy frameworks
Information security controls
Enterprise IT environments
Experience conducting compliance assessments and readiness reviews
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as:
AWS
Azure
Google Cloud
Familiarity with enterprise applications such as:
SAP
Salesforce
Microsoft 365
ServiceNow
ERP/CRM platforms
Experience with compliance frameworks including:
ISO 27001
NIST
SOC 2
HIPAA
CCPA
Strong documentation and executive presentation skills
Preferred Certifications
CIPP/E (Certified Information Privacy Professional – Europe)
CIPM (Certified Information Privacy Manager)
