Function Of The Group :  Client to track all APIs in use internally and externally The Business Analyst will support the enterprise API governance program by maintaining the API inventory, coordinating quarterly attestations, and partnering with engineering teams to streamline and automate governance workflows. This role starts with managing manual processes and evolves into defining and supporting automation solutions that improve accuracy, efficiency, and compliance
 

Current initiatives/project(s) that this resource will be impacting: Create centralized enterprise catalog, right now it is a manual solution which only allows inventory of external API''s. Standing up new tool in 2026 to be able to catalog all APIs to help alleviate some of the manual work. Would still need to break catalog apart by mnemonic to provide to app owners. Future state would like integration with ServiceNow to assist with automation. 
 

Industry background: Experience in governance, risk, compliance, or IT audit.
 

Roles/Responsibilities:

• Someone needs to be comfortable with the manual work to be able to validate the information and then update the master inventory.
• This person is NOT a developer, will not be creating API''s but will need to review APIs for Client''s standards.
• Maintain and update the enterprise API inventory across multiple teams.
• Partner with product owners and engineering leads to gather accurate API details and documentation.
• Coordinate quarterly API attestation activities, track responses, and prepare summary reports.
• Identify process improvement and automation opportunities within inventory and attestation workflows.
• Define business requirements and support development, testing, and deployment of automated solutions.
• Accurate, complete, and up-to-date API inventory.
• Timely, well-documented quarterly attestations.
• Clear requirements resulting in effective automation solutions.
• Reduction in manual effort and improved process efficiency.
• Adoption of sustainable and repeatable automated workflows.

• Excel Macro coding/scripting
• API Governance
• Google Apigee (API management dev portal to pull and abstract APIs)
• Akamai API Security Maintain and update the enterprise API inventory across multiple teams
• Partner with product owners and engineering leads to gather accurate API details and documentation. Coordinate quarterly API attestation activities.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Analyst, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of APIs, integration concepts, or systems architecture (no coding required).
• Advanced proficiency with Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, and collaboration tools.
• Strong data validation, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience with process automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, ADF, ServiceNow workflows).
