Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Implementation Specialist for a hybrid role focused on infrastructure deployment and automation. This position involves building scalable and reliable infrastructure, developing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring system health for private cloud operations. The role requires participation in overnight deployments and maintenance activities, typically scheduled from 1:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. on weekdays, to support a customer's transition from VxRail to R series servers.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and automate scalable infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to facilitate fast and safe deployments across multiple environments.
- Monitor private cloud system health, troubleshoot operational issues, and implement improvements for availability and performance.
- Implement and manage observability solutions using tools like LogicMonitor, CloudWatch, Datadog, Grafana, or Prometheus.
- Apply security best practices to ensure compliance with internal standards for high availability and disaster recovery.
- Collaborate with delivery and application teams to align infrastructure solutions with product requirements.
- Contribute to team knowledge by sharing best practices, participating in code reviews, and creating documentation.
- Participate in overnight deployments and assist with activities during maintenance windows.
Required Qualifications
Experience:- 3+ years in VMware infrastructure, including Windows and Linux environments, with an understanding of Hyperconverged infrastructure.
- 3+ years in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering, with experience in production VMware, AWS, or Azure environments.
- 1+ years with Meraki SD-WAN infrastructure and a foundational understanding of networking.
Technical Skills:- Hands-on experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CDK.
- Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and scripting languages including PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Experience deploying and managing containerized applications using Kubernetes, Docker, or Helm.
- Practical experience with observability and monitoring tools.
- Solid grasp of cloud security principles and policy enforcement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications in VMware, Microsoft, AWS, or Azure are preferred.
- Certifications in Terraform or Linux are also considered.
Compensation
The anticipated pay range for this position is $70.00 to $75.00 per hour. The final pay rate will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
