Job Title: Senior Healthcare Data Architect / Lead Data Modeler (Healthcare, ERwin, SQL)

Location: Remote (100% Telecommute)
Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Healthcare Data Architect / Lead Data Modeler to support enterprise data warehouse (EDW) initiatives for a large-scale healthcare analytics environment. This role is responsible for designing and maintaining enterprise data models, defining data architecture standards, and translating complex healthcare business requirements into scalable data solutions.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Healthcare Data Modeling, ERwin Data Modeler, Advanced SQL, and Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) environments, along with deep knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, and Commercial healthcare data. This is a hands-on role requiring expertise in data architecture, governance, and healthcare information management.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical enterprise data models using ERwin Data Modeler.
• Translate healthcare business requirements into scalable enterprise data architecture solutions.
• Build and optimize enterprise data models supporting large-scale healthcare data warehouses and analytics platforms.
• Develop and maintain normalized, dimensional, OLTP, and OLAP data models.
• Design fact and dimension models, Star Schemas, Snowflake Schemas, Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD), and Master Data Management (MDM) solutions.
• Create and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, DDL, DML, and database objects while ensuring high performance.
• Drive enterprise data governance, metadata management, data quality, data profiling, and data security initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulatory standards including HIPAA, PHI, and PII.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, architects, and analytics teams to deliver enterprise healthcare data solutions.
• Support enterprise reporting, analytics, and information management initiatives across the healthcare organization.
• Define enterprise data standards, architecture roadmaps, and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Enterprise Data Architecture and Data Modeling.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with ERwin Data Modeler.
• Extensive experience designing enterprise data models for Healthcare, including Medicaid, Medicare, and Commercial healthcare data.
• Strong experience building Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) solutions.

• Experience supporting enterprise healthcare analytics and reporting platforms.
• Previous experience working within large healthcare payer or healthcare technology organizations.
