Please note that this is a 12 months contract position.
This role is 100% onsite in Spring House, PA.
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree is required.
Must have experience in protein production and purification.
Must have analytical characterization experience.
Membrane protein experience is a significant plus
2 4 years of relevant experience required.
Will attend group meetings.
60 70% of the role will involve lab-based work.
Responsible for data capturing.
Qualifications
Education:
Minimum of a BS degree with 2 4 years of academic/industry experience, or an MS degree with 1 2 years of experience is required.
Experience and Skills:
Experience with membrane protein expression is a plus and optimization, purification, and characterization of proteins.
Well-versed in analytical characterization to determine quality, conformation, purity, and stability.
Knowledge of protein expression construct design and optimization, and expression platforms.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal and external partners.
Preferred:
Proficient in protein purification optimization, detergent screening, and reconstitutions into lipid nanodiscs.
Experience in independently operating AKTA FPLC and analytical HPLC instruments.
Experience in generating DNA/RNA constructs or other tools as antigens for supporting antibody discovery.
Knowledge and experience with CROs for protein production.
This is a 40-hour/week, full on-site job.

Support membrane protein expression and purification.
Conduct protein production, purification, and characterization.
Characterize and perform quality checks of membrane proteins to support biotherapeutics development.
Collaborate effectively in a multi-team environment.
