Summary

Role: Workday Project Manger

Location: Columbus, OH

Duration: Long Term Contract

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience leading large-scale enterprise programs and managing multiple concurrent business and technology projects.

• Strong expertise in program/portfolio management, including planning, execution, governance, risk and dependency management, and stakeholder communication.

• Experience leading cross-functional teams (business, functional, technical, vendors, and partners).

• Background managing HR technology, HCM programs, or large-scale SaaS application portfolios.

• Strong financial management skills (budgeting, forecasting, resource planning, cost control, reporting).

• Experience engaging executive stakeholders and presenting program status, risks, and strategic recommendations.

• Ability to establish governance frameworks, roadmaps, delivery plans, and performance metrics.

• Experience managing vendors, contracts, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

• Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.

• Experience driving organizational change, process improvement, and technology adoption.

• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Workday HCM programs, implementations, or support.

• Knowledge of Workday modules (Core HCM, Recruiting, Talent, Learning, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Integrations).

• Experience in HR transformation and workforce management programs.

• Experience working with Workday partners and certified resources.

• Exposure to global HR organizations and multi-country deployments.

• Familiarity with SaaS and cloud application ecosystems.

• Experience with Jira, ServiceNow, or similar tools.

• Experience in regulated enterprise environments.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
