Funds Custody Project Manager

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in technical project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex software development or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding and practical experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Proficiency in using Jira for project tracking, task management, and reporting.
• Demonstrated experience delivering technology initiatives within Custody platforms (eg., asset servicing, settlement, corp actions) - Equity
• Funds (Funds Life cycle, ETF, Hedge , Mutual Funds)
• Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC).

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning and Definition:

• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed timelines, resource allocation, and budget forecasts.
• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path items.

• Project Execution and Monitoring:

• Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, including engineers, developers, QA, and business analysts.
• Monitor project progress, track milestones, and manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs.
• Implement and manage project risk management plans, identifying potential issues and developing mitigation strategies.
• Ensure adherence to established project management processes, methodologies, and quality standards.

• Stakeholder Communication and Management:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications.
• Regularly communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders at all levels.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between technical teams, business units, and external vendors.

• Quality Assurance and Delivery:

• Oversee the testing and quality assurance processes to ensure deliverables meet functional and non-functional requirements.
• Facilitate successful deployment and handover to operations, ensuring proper documentation and training.

• Continuous Improvement:

• Conduct post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and tools within the organization.
