Oracle Developer

Hiring: W2 Candidates Only

Visa: Open to any visa type with valid work authorization in the USA

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Oracle database applications.

• Write efficient PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and complex queries.

• Develop and optimize SQL queries for performance and scalability.

• Perform database design, data modeling, and schema creation.

• Work closely with Business Analysts and application developers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Conduct performance tuning and query optimization.

• Implement database security, backup, and recovery procedures.

• Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide timely resolution.

• Create and maintain technical documentation.

• Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices are followed.

• Support data migration, integration, and ETL processes.

• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and reliability across systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3-8+ years of experience as an Oracle Developer.

• Strong expertise in:

  • Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c or later)

  • PL/SQL programming

  • Advanced SQL queries

• Experience with:

  • Stored procedures, triggers, packages

  • Performance tuning and indexing strategies

  • Data modeling concepts

  • Query optimization techniques

• Knowledge of database backup, recovery, and security best practices.

• Familiarity with SDLC methodologies (Agile/Waterfall).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Forms and Reports.

• Knowledge of Oracle APEX.

• Experience with ETL tools (Informatica, ODI, etc.).

• Exposure to cloud platforms (Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure).

• Experience in ERP/Finance/Banking domain.

• Oracle Certification (OCA/OCP).
