Retail Store Analytics Business Analyst
Location: BayArea, CA (Remote PST Hours)
Duration: Long term contract
Role Bridge between store ops, buying, finance, and data engineering translating reporting needs into data requirements.
Responsibilities
- Document and validate reporting requirements across sales, inventory, and finance
- Define semantic layer data requirements for the above reporting
- Validate migrated reports against legacy system outputs (UAT)
- Support phased POS rollout across stores as reporting SME
Required
- 3+ years retail analytics or BA experience
- Manhattan POS hands-on, must-have
- Strong grasp of retail KPIs (AUR, UPT, ATV, margin, sell-through)
- SQL proficiency for data validation and ad hoc analysis
- Experience translating business logic into technical specs
Nice to Have
- TeamWorks or other legacy POS experience
- Google Cloud Platform BigQuery / cloud data warehouse exposure
