Our client is looking for a Automation QA Engineer – Genomics / Bioinformatics project in San Diego, CA below is the detailed requirement.

Job Title: Automation QA Engineer – Genomics / Bioinformatics
Location: San Diego, CA

Required Skills: QA/Test Automation, NGS, LIMS, bioinformatics and life-sciences compliance

Job description:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
3+ years of QA/Test Automation experience with strong Python scripting.
Develop and maintain automated test suites using pytest, unittest or Robot Framework.
Test genomics, sequencing and life-sciences software applications.
Perform functional, integration, regression and genomic data-validation testing.
Validate sequencing data, variant outputs and sample-to-result traceability.
Test LIMS integrations, sample tracking and laboratory workflows.
Collaborate with wet-lab/dry-lab teams to create real-world test scenarios.
Identify defects and support root-cause analysis with engineering/product teams.
Integrate automated testing with CI/CD and improve test frameworks.
Knowledge of NGS, LIMS, bioinformatics and life-sciences compliance is highly valuable.
