Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager with strong expertise in managing native mobile application projects across iOS and Android platforms. The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional teams including developers, QA, UI/UX designers, DevOps, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality mobile applications on time and within budget.
The candidate should possess a strong technical understanding of native mobile app development, Agile delivery methodologies, release management, and stakeholder communication. Experience managing enterprise-grade mobile applications and coordinating distributed teams is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end delivery of native mobile application projects for iOS and Android platforms.
• Manage project planning, scope, timelines, risks, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with mobile developers, architects, QA teams, UI/UX designers, and product owners.
• Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
• Work closely with engineering teams to understand technical dependencies and implementation challenges.
• Ensure adherence to mobile app development best practices, coding standards, and release processes.
• Manage app release cycles for Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Track and report project status, KPIs, risks, and mitigation plans to leadership.
• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams for CI/CD and deployment planning.
• Ensure quality assurance processes are followed for mobile application testing and production releases.
• Support production issue resolution and post-release monitoring.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
• Strong understanding of native mobile app development:
• iOS (Swift, Objective-C)
• Android (Kotlin, Java)
• Experience managing mobile application lifecycle from development to production deployment.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, mobile backend integrations, authentication, and push notifications.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and mobile deployment tools.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum project management methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or Trello.
• Understanding of mobile app security, performance optimization, and scalability.
Functional Skills
• Excellent project planning and execution capabilities.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong risk management and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working with offshore/onshore delivery teams.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• PMP, Scrum Master, or Agile certification preferred.
• Experience managing enterprise or customer-facing mobile applications.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
Experience with analytics and monitoring tools for mobile applications.
