Product Analyst
Location: Remote
Type: Long-term Contract
We’re seeking a hands-on Product Analyst to help build and mature a B2B SaaS product analytics practice. This role will partner closely with product, engineering, and leadership to define meaningful product metrics, improve instrumentation, connect product usage to business outcomes, and develop actionable reporting.
Responsibilities
- Define north star and supporting product metrics around adoption, activation, and retention.
- Audit and improve Datadog RUM events, tagging, and product instrumentation.
- Connect product usage data to business outcomes such as pipeline, renewals, and expansion.
- Build dashboards and reporting for product teams and leadership.
- Partner with engineering to ensure new features are properly instrumented.
Qualifications
- Strong B2B SaaS product analytics experience.
- Hands-on experience with Datadog, including RUM, custom metrics, and APIs.
- Strong database, data modeling, and SQL knowledge.
- Experience with product attribution and usage analytics.
- Experience working with AI-enabled analytics and data tools.
Nice to have: Snowflake, BigQuery, PostgreSQL, JavaScript/TypeScript, or advanced Datadog/DDSQL experience.
