Job Description


We are seeking a QA Analyst I to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in executing and developing test plans, test cases, and test scripts and a proven ability to identify, document, and track software defects to resolution.


Responsibilities:



  • Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures.

  • Test system modifications to prepare for implementation.

  • Develop testing programs addressing database impacts, software scenarios, and usability.

  • Document software defects in a bug tracking system and report defects to developers.

  • Identify, analyze, and document issues with program function, output, online screens, or content.

  • Monitor bug resolution efforts and track outcomes.

  • Create or maintain databases of known test defects.

  • Plan test schedules and strategies in accordance with project scope and delivery dates.


Required Skills & Qualifications:



  • Proficiency in software testing practices, test case design, and defect tracking tools.

  • Strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving, customer service, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

  • Basic knowledge of hardware and software concepts, including applications and programming.

  • Basic understanding of engineering principles and design techniques.

  • Familiarity with development tools or languages such as Visual Basic, Linux, or JavaScript.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.


Preferred Skills:



  • Experience developing automated test scripts or frameworks.

  • Experience in Agile or Scrum environments.
