AV Design Architect

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an AV Design Architect in San Antonio, TX.

Responsibilities:
* Plan, design, and optimize AV solutions
* Evaluate new technologies and work with vendors to implement solutions
* Conduct site surveys and gather business requirements
* Translate requirements into AV system designs and ensure compliance
* Coordinate with facilities and IT teams on installation, cabling, power, and integrations
* Set up, operate, and maintain AV equipment for events, trainings, and meetings
* Troubleshoot AV issues and develop resolution procedures
* Train users and support presenters during live events
* Oversee AV asset inventory, logistics, ordering, and equipment lifecycle
* Provide guidance and direction to junior AV or helpdesk technicians

REQUIREMENTS:
* High School diploma or GED
* 1-3 years of AV installation experience

Preferred Skills:
* 3-5 years of AV installation experience in a corporate environment
* Crestron: Digital media distribution, amplifiers, HDMI extenders (software certification a plus)
* Biamp: Tesira Forte products (software certification a plus)
* Microsoft: Teams Admin Center, Teams Pro Management, Intune Portal
* Visix: Media players, meeting minders
* NovoDS: Media players/studio software
* Atlas Sound: Ceiling speakers, amplifiers
* Logitech: RallyBars, Intel NUC, Taps, Mic pods, Display hubs, LogiSync portal
* Barco: ClickShare, XMS Cloud Portal
* TEKVOX: HDMI extenders, TekManager software
* Mixer Boards: Analog/digital mixing consoles, wireless and wired microphones
* Projection Systems: Panasonic, Sanyo, LG, MediaWall V
* Conference Systems: ClearOne, Citrix, Teams Calls
* Installation Skills: TVs, mounts, power tools, cable runs, patch cable termination
* Other Equipment: Extron, TOA, AMX, Vaddio, Network UPS batteries

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
