AI Business Analyst – Healthcare Experience

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced AI Business Analyst with Healthcare domain expertise to support data-driven healthcare initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in healthcare workflows and the ability to translate complex business requirements into AI/ML-driven solutions. This role requires collaboration with clinical, operational, and data science teams to implement predictive and analytical healthcare solutions.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Healthcare (Payer or Provider environment)

• Hands-on experience working on AI/ML or Predictive Analytics projects

• Strong understanding of:

  • Claims Processing

  • Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)

  • EHR/EMR systems

• Knowledge of healthcare data standards and regulations:

  • HIPAA

  • HL7

  • FHIR

• Experience writing:

  • BRD (Business Requirements Document)

  • FRD (Functional Requirements Document)

  • User Stories

• Strong SQL skills for data analysis and validation

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

• Hands-on experience with Jira

• Must have experience with at least one: State, Federal, or Public Sector project

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Population Health or Value-Based Care initiatives

• Exposure to NLP or Clinical Analytics projects

• Experience with Power BI or Tableau

• Cloud exposure (AWS or Azure)

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements

• Translate healthcare business problems into AI/ML-based solutions

• Work closely with Data Engineers and Data Scientists to define data needs

• Validate predictive models against business requirements

• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards

• Support UAT, stakeholder communication, and project documentation
