Position Overview

We are seeking a Digital Content Manager & Vendor Coordination Specialist to support the planning, development, management, and delivery of digital learning content across multiple projects and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in digital content development, instructional design, e-learning, asynchronous learning, vendor coordination, project management, and digital accessibility. The candidate should be comfortable working with internal teams, subject matter experts, technology teams, and external vendors to deliver high-quality, accessible, learner-centered digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Content Development

  • Develop, manage, edit, and maintain digital learning content and online resources.
  • Review multimedia content including videos, graphics, presentations, e-learning modules, and web-based resources.
  • Collaborate with SMEs to convert subject matter into effective asynchronous learning experiences.
  • Maintain consistency in branding, messaging, instructional quality, and user experience.

Asynchronous Learning & Instructional Design

  • Design and develop self-paced online learning modules.
  • Create learning pathways, online courses, microlearning experiences, and digital resource repositories.
  • Apply instructional design and adult learning principles.
  • Incorporate assessments, learner engagement strategies, and multimedia elements.
  • Build and maintain learning experiences using LMS and digital authoring platforms.

Vendor Coordination & Project Management

  • Serve as a primary liaison between internal stakeholders and external vendors/consultants.
  • Coordinate timelines, deliverables, reviews, approvals, and project dependencies.
  • Monitor vendor deliverables against quality, accessibility, and contractual requirements.
  • Facilitate project meetings, status updates, and stakeholder communications.
  • Track risks, issues, dependencies, and resource requirements and escalate as needed.

Accessibility & Quality Assurance

  • Review digital learning products for Section 508 and WCAG 2.1+ compliance.
  • Conduct accessibility testing, review, and remediation.
  • Provide accessibility guidance to vendors and project stakeholders.
  • Perform content QA to ensure digital products are functional, accessible, accurate, and learner-centered.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with leadership, program teams, instructional designers, technology teams, SMEs, and external partners.
  • Gather requirements and translate business/learning needs into project plans and deliverables.
  • Maintain project documentation, status reports, accessibility review records, and vendor deliverable tracking.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Communications, Digital Media, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years of experience developing digital content and learning resources.
  • Experience coordinating projects involving multiple vendors and stakeholders.
  • Experience developing asynchronous learning modules and online learning experiences.
  • Knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principles.
  • Working knowledge of Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 or higher.
  • Experience reviewing and remediating digital content for accessibility.
  • Strong project management, organization, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in K-12, higher education, government, or public-sector environments.
  • Experience with Canvas, Moodle, Schoology, Blackboard, or similar LMS platforms.
  • Experience with Articulate 360, Rise, Storyline, Adobe Creative Cloud, Camtasia, or similar tools.
  • Project management experience or certification.
  • Accessibility certification such as IAAP CPACC.
  • Instructional design, e-learning, accessibility, or authoring-tool certifications/training.
