SAP S4 HANA Group Reporting Functional Consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in financial consolidation processes and hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting solutions. This role requires strong functional knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support implementation and optimization of SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting solutions.
• Analyze, design, and configure financial consolidation processes including:
  • Intercompany (IC) eliminations
  • Equity pickup process
  • Statutory reporting
• Participate in ECC to S/4HANA migration/upgrade projects, including at least one full lifecycle implementation.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Provide functional guidance and support during system design, testing, and deployment phases.
• Create and maintain clear documentation, including process flows, data mappings, and technical designs using tools like Visio, PowerPoint, etc.
• Mentor and guide junior team members and provide training as required.
• Ensure alignment with accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting and financial consolidation tools.
• Strong understanding of:
  • Financial consolidation processes
  • Intercompany reconciliations and eliminations
  • Equity pickup and reporting structures
  • Accounting principles and statutory compliance
• Deep functional knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Experience in at least one full-cycle ECC to S/4HANA upgrade/implementation project.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and train team members.
• Exceptional documentation and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in large-scale enterprise SAP implementations.
• Familiarity with financial reporting standards (IFRS, GAAP).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education

• Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
