Key Responsibilities- Design and implement firmware for manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and debug embedded systems during production.
- Develop and maintain test fixtures for hardware validation.
- Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers on system integration.
- Optimize embedded code for performance and resource utilization.
- Implement communication protocols for factory automation.
Recommended Qualifications- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in embedded software development for manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in C/C++ for bare-metal and RTOS-based systems.
- Strong understanding of microcontroller architectures (e.g., ARM Cortex-M) and peripheral interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, Ethernet).
- Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET).
- Demonstrated ability to debug hardware/software issues using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and in-circuit debuggers.
Bonus Qualifications- Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherCAT, PROFINET, Modbus TCP/IP).
- Familiarity with functional safety standards (e.g., IEC 61508, ISO 13849).
- Proficiency in PCB design and layout tools (e.g., Altium Designer, KiCad).
- Knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS) in a production environment.
- Experience with vision systems or robotics integration.
