What You'll Do:

  • Lead the development and execution of CHA's national data center growth strategy across hyperscale, colocation, enterprise, and public-sector markets aligned with our corporate objectives
  • Build and maintain deep relationships with C-suite executives, engineering leaders, procurement teams, and real-estate decision-makers
  • Identify, qualify, and prioritize new market opportunities aligned with emerging trends-including AI workload expansion, advanced cooling technologies, edge computing, and sustainability frameworks
  • Serve as CHA's subject-matter expert in mission-critical facilities, staying ahead of competitive intelligence, regulatory considerations, and technology innovations
  • Build and manage a high-quality pipeline from lead generation through negotiation and contract award.
  • Drive pursuit strategy for multimillion-dollar opportunities, including proposal development, pricing strategy, and contract negotiations
  • Orchestrate complex deal negotiations through contract close-out while steering revenue, margin, and market-share growth and providing forward-looking pipeline intelligence to leadership.
  • Champion revenue, margin, and market-share growth for the data center segment, driving strategic advancement and market position
  • Collaborate with engineering, planning, operations, finance, and marketing teams to shape market-leading solutions and support successful project delivery
  • Amplify our market presence by partnering with marketing to elevate CHA's capabilities through standout thought leadership, targeted campaigns, and high-impact industry events

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering is required; Master's in Business Administration (MBA) preferred
  • A minimum of 10 years of business development, strategy, or sales experience in data centers, hyperscale cloud, mission-critical infrastructure, or related engineering environments
  • Experience with hyperscalers; familiarity with sustainability, regulatory frameworks, and large-scale design-build models
  • Strong industry relationships within cloud providers, colocation operators, infrastructure leaders, and/or enterprise data-center decision-makers
  • Proven ability to shape enterprise strategy and elevate brand presence across the data center industry
  • Demonstrated success leading complex, high-value pursuits from qualification through contract award
  • Solid understanding of data-center-specific engineering and operational disciplines (power distribution, cooling systems, controls, fiber, networking, security)
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive-presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders across technical, commercial, and operational functions
  • Accomplished in building, deepening, and energizing relationships with key clients and strategic partners

Why You'll Love It Here:

  • Directly shape CHA's strategic position in a rapidly expanding and highly visible market
  • Partner with top-tier engineering, planning, and delivery teams to bring innovative solutions to the world's most advanced data center operators
  • Engage with industry-leading clients who are actively redefining the future of digital infrastructure
  • Enjoy a collaborative, growth-oriented environment where your expertise influences long-term business direction

Salary Range:
