We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Permanent Field Service Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of equipment in the field. Responsibilities:

1. Conduct regular preventive maintenance on service equipment, including inspection, testing, and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
2. Respond promptly to service calls, evaluate equipment's needs, and perform necessary repairs or adjustments both in-house and in the field.
3. Troubleshoot complex issues related to electrical systems and mechanical equipment, determining the most effective solutions.
4. Document service and repair information, maintaining a comprehensive record of all maintenance and repair work conducted.
5. Provide excellent customer service, addressing client concerns, and explaining technical issues in a clear and understandable manner.
6. Collaborate with the engineering team to resolve more complex issues, providing detailed information about problems and solutions.
7. Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, techniques, and tools to ensure the provision of high-quality services.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, field repair, and preventive maintenance.
2. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and proficiency in working with electrical systems.
3. Proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively.
4. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues in a clear and understandable manner.
5. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
6. A high level of physical fitness, as the role may involve lifting heavy equipment and working in challenging field conditions.
7. A valid driver's license and the willingness to travel to different field locations.
8. A technical degree or equivalent in a related field is preferred.
9. Certifications in relevant areas, such as electrical systems or mechanical engineering, will be an added advantage.
