Detailed Job Description:
The client is looking for a seasoned professional who can design scalable data solutions, lead governance and security, and collaborate with stakeholders while driving innovation.
Expertise in Azure, Databricks, Spark, Python, SQL, and enterprise grade solution implementation is essential.

Required Qualifications

8+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks.
Expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF).
Advanced proficiency in PySpark and Apache Spark.
Strong programming experience in Python.
Experience writing complex SQL queries and optimizing database performance.
Experience implementing enterprise-scale data integration and analytics solutions.
Knowledge of Azure cloud services and data architecture best practices.
Strong understanding of data governance, security, and performance optimization.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Generative AI (GenAI) or AI-enabled analytics solutions.
Experience with Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and Medallion Architecture.
Knowledge of Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure DevOps.
Experience with Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines.
Microsoft Azure or Databricks certifications are a plus.
