About Our ClientA company operating in the technology and telecoms industry, located in Chicago.
Job Description- Manage the company's accounting and tax operations to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Review High-Networth Individual tax returns
- Oversee financial reporting and ensure accuracy in all financial statements.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Lead audits and collaborate with external auditors as needed.
- Provide strategic financial guidance to senior leadership.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns and related documentation.
- Monitor and manage financial risks, identifying areas for improvement.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and accounting standards relevant to the technology and telecoms industry.

The Successful ApplicantA successful Chief Tax Officer should have:
- 6+ years of strong experience in high-networth tax
- Comprehensive knowledge of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in financial management systems and tools.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to provide strategic financial insights and recommendations.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving capabilities
