Project Manager

Varmoda is hiring a Senior Project Manager to lead complex software development and digital platform initiatives through the full project lifecycle, from discovery and planning through production deployment and evaluation. This role will coordinate technical, functional, UX, data, and external teams to deliver cloud-based and AI-enabled solutions on schedule, within budget, and against clearly defined business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects from initiation, discovery, and prototyping through development, testing, deployment, and post-launch evaluation.
• Lead Agile delivery activities, including sprint planning, backlog management, resource coordination, and release planning.
• Coordinate software engineers, UX designers, data specialists, business stakeholders, and technology partners.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, resources, and deliverables across multiple workstreams.
• Track Agile delivery and project activities using Azure DevOps.
• Maintain project documentation, status reporting, action items, risks, and decisions.
• Establish collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to keep delivery on schedule.
• Provide guidance to project teams and support continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university.
• 5+ years of recent, progressively responsible project management experience.
• Eligibility to sit for the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience managing complex software development and digital platform implementations.
• Experience with Agile project delivery, sprint planning, backlog management, and release management.
• Experience managing project schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, resources, and deliverables.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for Agile project and backlog management.
• Experience with collaboration and project-management tools such as Confluence, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Smartsheet, or Microsoft Project.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Preferred Qualifications
• 7+ years of relevant project management experience.
• Experience managing AI-enabled applications, personalization platforms, or data-intensive digital products.
• Experience with learning technologies, EdTech platforms, LMS integrations, or workforce development systems.
• Experience leading products from MVP through production and subsequent releases.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce and Canvas, including integrations and data workflows.
• Familiarity with Figma or similar UX/UI collaboration tools.
• Experience with dashboards and project-performance reporting.

Certifications & Clearance

• Eligibility to sit for the PMP certification is required.
• PMP certification is preferred.
