The ERCOT Internship Program allows college students the opportunity to develop their skills in a technical and high-paced, professional work environment. Interns receive assignments and projects that aim to solve real challenges facing the electric industry.

The internship program also allows students to experience working alongside ERCOT employees and being part of a team. Throughout the internship, ERCOT leaders are able to evaluate each individual interns' capabilities and compatibility with ERCOT's mission, vision and values.

Education
  • Pursuing an undergraduate (at least sophomore year) or graduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems (MIS) or similar majors.
  • Eligible candidates should be enrolled in an academic bachelors or post graduate degree program maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Preferred Experience
  • ERP experience:SAP, Oracle, preferably Workday
  • Supply Chain Risk Management
  • Procurement and Supply Chain fundamentals
  • Strong academic background in Supply Chain, Business, or Finance. Key requirements include proficiency in MS Excel, strong communication skills, and an interest in procurement, vendor management, contract administration, supply chain or logistics. Prior experience in data analysis, administrative roles, or relevant coursework is highly valued.
Work Location - Taylor, TX
  • Interns will be required to be on-site in Taylor, TX at minimum 2 days per week, or more, as needed based on the business needs as determined by management.
This is a full-time internship for the Summer of 2026. The program will run from the start of June through the second week of August.

Expected Salary Range:
$23 - $39
