Program Manager - Lead

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Plano, TX that is seeking a Program Manager - Lead.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Lead Program Manager to support a large-scale, multi-year Operational Risk initiative within a highly regulated enterprise environment. This position requires strong Operational Risk Management experience with the ability to roll up progress, risks, and outcomes across multiple workstreams. The Lead Program Manager will drive governance, documentation, and delivery across policy, procedure, process, and technology enhancement efforts tied specifically to Operational Risk.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and coordinate multiple initiatives within a broader Operational Risk program
* Serve as day-to-day execution lead, taking direction from Operational Risk leadership
* Aggregate and roll up program status, risks, and deliverables for leadership visibility
* Support governance activities including documentation updates, procedures, and policy alignment
* Lead efforts across CSA/PRCI, risk monitoring, testing, and control-related initiatives
* Gather and absorb requirements across stakeholders and ensure timely, accurate delivery
* Manage interdependencies across risk, business, and technology teams
* Support enterprise-wide updates and simplification of Risk Management tools
* Balance execution across Scaled Agile delivery models, with strong grounding in Waterfall
* Maintain full program discipline across scope, timelines, dependencies, and outcomes
* Manage stakeholder engagement and expectations across both 1st and 2nd line coverage activities

REQUIREMENTS:
7+ years of experience with:
* Operational Risk Management: CSA/PRCI, Risk Monitoring, Testing, issue management; Experience across 1st and 2nd line coverage activities
* Risk Controls & Governance: Policy, procedures, standards, and control documentation updates
* Program & Project Management: Enterprise-scale programs with regulatory and governance oversight

* Strong background supporting multi-year enterprise programs
* Proven experience in highly regulated banking environments
* Ability to manage and influence senior stakeholders
* Experience translating complex risk requirements into executable delivery
* Comfortable operating without rigid tooling structures; able to manage work effectively in Excel
* Prior big bank experience strongly preferred
* Recent prior experience in Risk Management is highly desirable

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
