Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of Workday Financials projects (implementation, enhancement, integration)
  • Manage modules including:
    • General Ledger (GL)
    • Accounts Payable & Receivable (AP/AR)
    • Asset Management
    • Procurement & Supplier Management
    • Banking & Settlements
    • Financial Reporting
  • Partner with Finance & Procurement leadership to align system design with business needs
  • Drive business process optimization across:
    • Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
    • Record-to-Report (R2R)
    • Supplier onboarding & spend controls
  • Coordinate with:
    • Workday functional teams
    • Integration teams (EIB, Studio, Core Connectors)
    • Third-party vendors & internal SMEs
  • Oversee:
    • Data conversion & validation
    • Integration readiness
    • Testing cycles (SIT/UAT)
    • Cutover & production deployment
  • Manage project timelines, risks, scope, and stakeholder communication
 Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree in a related field
  • PMP Certification (Mandatory)
  • 5+ years of IT Project Management experience
  • 3+ years of Workday Financials experience
  • Strong experience in ERP implementations
  • Solid understanding of:
    • Accounting & procurement processes
    • Financial reporting structures
    • ERP integrations
 Technical Skills
  • MS Project, MS Visio
  • SharePoint, MS Office 365
  • MS Teams
  • Strong communication & presentation skills
 Preferred Experience
  • State government project experience
  • Vendor-managed project coordination
  • Hands-on exposure to:
    • Workday Financial Management
    • Workday Procurement
