Summary

Job Title: Sr. Data Engineer

Work Model: Remote/hybrid/travel

Duration: 4 months+ contract

Hours per week: 40

Key Responsibilities:

Are you an experienced Senior Data Engineer with a passion for data and databases? Do you enjoy data analysis, data modeling, and creating ETL data flows? Are you looking for an opportunity to leverage your development skills in the financial services space? As a senior engineer within the Prime Services domain, you will be part of a diverse and collaborative team, laser-focused on delivering first-class solutions to our customers. You will work across a wide range of technologies, bringing deep technical experience across Databases, ETL frameworks, Python/ Java, and Cloud.

The Value You Deliver

As a Senior Software Engineer in SCO, you will be responsible for:

Working as part of an agile SCRUM team
Building scalable and robust ETL data flows and databases using a range of technologies
Exploring new technology trends and leveraging them to simplify our data ecosystem
Identifying and resolving issues within the production and non-production environments
Collaborating with internal and external teams to deliver technology solutions for the business needs
Documenting & sharing technical solutions and diagrams
Designing and implementing solutions that align with the wider technology strategy.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring:

Bachelor's / Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Engineering
Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills within complex, distributed deployments
Extensive experience with Snowflake
Knowledge of ETL and streaming technologies (Informatica, SnapLogic, Kafka, etc.)
Experience in data modeling, advanced SQL, and performance tuning
Experience in developing data applications in the cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Development experience using Python/Java
Practical experience with containerization and Kubernetes
Comfortable working with standard CI/CD tools and pipelines (Jenkins, Artifactory, uDeploy, etc.)
Any experience in AI/ML (ML fundamentals, AWS Sagemaker, etc.) and API development is a big plus
Experience with BI/Analytics is a nice to have
