We are seeking an experienced Epic Professional Billing (PB) Analyst to provide backfill support as full-time team members transition to a major organizational project. This role will play a critical part in maintaining operational stability within the Professional Billing application, driving system optimization efforts, and supporting ongoing enhancement work. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in PB Administration and a track record of strengthening revenue cycle performance through workflow improvements and system configuration.
Responsibilities- Provide day-to-day support for the Epic Professional Billing application, including ticket triage, troubleshooting, and system optimization.
- Manage and execute system upgrades, including preparation, testing, issue resolution, and post-upgrade cleanup activities.
- Build and maintain departmental structures and configuration components within the PB environment.
- Configure, optimize, and manage Credit Work Queues, ensuring accurate routing and resolution of credit balances.
- Redesign and maintain PB Charge Review workflows to improve accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Perform standard SER updates and manage ongoing provider file and provider-related configuration needs.
- Support operational cleanup initiatives and workflow improvement projects across the revenue cycle.
- Collaborate with operational stakeholders to understand requirements, implement updates, and ensure adherence to governance standards.
- Participate in preparation and cleanup activities associated with a potential Epic Upgrade occurring in May.
- Maintain documentation in alignment with new and evolving governance processes.
Required Qualifications- Epic Certification in Professional Billing with 8-10+ years of hands-on experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in configuring and optimizing Credit Work Queues.
- Experience redesigning PB Charge Review workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Strong working knowledge of SER build, provider file setup, and ongoing maintenance.
- Ability to quickly understand and adapt to new documentation, governance structures, and organizational procedures.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience in claims processing, payer workflows, and revenue cycle operations.
- Prior involvement in Epic upgrade cycles, including testing and cleanup phases.
- Experience supporting large-scale optimization or stabilization efforts within PB.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $75.00 - $90.00/hr.
