Your Opportunity

Design, document, and learn as part of professionals under the supervision of licensed architects. While licensure is not mandatory, it is anticipated to be among your short-term objectives.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Keep the Project Manager updated on progress, expectations, deadlines, and deliverables within your responsibilities. Participate in team meetings and coordination sessions.
  • Assist in monitoring and coordinating internal team and external consultant work and deadlines.
  • Support project teams in developing designs through sketches, electronic models, diagrams, massing studies, and other visual formats.
  • Develop design concepts, renderings, and presentation drawings.
  • Utilize Autodesk Revit and other BIM technologies to create three-dimensional models of buildings and their components.
  • Prepare and revise documentation across various architectural phases, including site plans, floor plans, building elevations, building sections, and details.
  • Coordinate building systems (structural, mechanical, electrical, etc.) to ensure they align with the design intent.
  • Assist with contract administration tasks.
  • Attend project coordination meetings with internal team members and/or external consultants.
  • Implement sustainable design principles into building designs and the surrounding environment.
  • Conduct site analysis and research concepts, benchmarks, typologies, and precedents.

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials
  • Able to support multiple Project Managers across various projects simultaneously.
  • Possesses a general understanding of accessibility codes, life-safety codes, building construction systems, methods, materials, and industry standards.
  • Comfortable working independently and taking direction, while proactively taking appropriate actions without constant supervision. Manages multiple deadlines and priorities effectively.
  • A collaborative team player with clients, project teams, and contractors.
  • Strong communicator.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Revit, InDesign, and Photoshop; experience with Lumion, SketchUp, and Newforma is preferred.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
  • 3 years of relevant experience.
  • LEED Green Associate or LEED AP certification preferred.

This role typically involves working in an office environment, using computers, and remaining sedentary for extended periods. Depending on the assignment, remote work may be an option for up to one day per week.
