Summary

This Department of War enterprise data and analytics program delivers mission-critical capabilities that enable leaders across the Department to make faster, better-informed decisions using trusted data at scale. Leidos Digital Modernization sector is seeking an experienced Senior Repository Administrator to support the delivery, enhancement, and adoption of enterprise data and analytics products used across multiple DoD organizations.

In this role, you will work alongside government partners, engineers, and other industry teammates to translate operational and strategic requirements into scalable, production-ready solutions. You will contribute directly to product planning, execution, and continuous improvement-helping ensure capabilities are delivered efficiently, aligned to mission priorities, and positioned for sustained success.

This position offers the opportunity to work on a high-visibility, enterprise program at the intersection of data, analytics, and emerging AI technologies. Primary Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and administer version control systems to ensure codebase integrity, traceability, and compliance with established repository policies.
  • Develop, deliver, and maintain appropriate Configuration Management Database (CMDB) technology as part of an enterprise level site reliability planning and execution.
  • Manage user access, branch protections, and permission structures to safeguard source code across development and production environments.
  • Monitor commits, merge activity, and repository health, enforcing governance practices that support reliable software development workflows.
  • Coordinate with development, security, and release teams to ensure repositories remain organized, auditable, and aligned with configuration management requirements.
  • Prepare, maintain, and execute a System Engineering Plan (SEP) for managing all systems architecture and system engineering related aspects of the program.
  • Conduct systems engineering activities required to specify, build, and maintain system engineering designs for the System.
  • Design, prepare, and document systems engineering and cybersecurity artifacts for the System.
  • Establish and maintain a System Requirements management environment and associated system requirements management process for the System.
  • Support the Government in recommending and conducting enterprise system architecture activities to fully define and scope the System.
  • Define, document, maintain, and promulgate APIs and technical standards for using and interoperating within and outside the System.
  • Design, engineer, integrate, and continuously improve the underlying infrastructure of the System.
  • Identify, prepare, track, secure, and integrate government, commercial, and open-source tools and services into the System.
  • Design, architect, engineer, and continuously improve the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) 8570components of the Platform.
  • Design, build, and maintain services and products to effectively make production-ready AI/ML models accessible for customer use.
  • Design, architect, engineer, and continuously improve all aspects of cybersecurity elements of the System.
  • Perform site reliability engineering to build and maintain a reliable, scalable, and efficient System by applying software engineering principles to operational tasks.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical discipline and 8-12 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree in a related field and 6-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience administering and securing enterprise Git repositories and artifact management systems.
  • Experience integrating repository platforms into CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines.
  • Experience implementing access controls, identity integration, and audit logging in secure environments.
  • Experience supporting DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) and NIST SP 800-53 compliance requirements.
  • Experience operating within SAFe or large-scale Agile frameworks supporting enterprise systems.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git, SVN, or similar.
  • Demonstrable experience engineering repository management, user access, and branch protection features and capabilities within an enterprise level system.
  • Experience with systems engineering and architecture design.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.
  • Experience with API development and technical standards.
  • Experience with cloud environments, data storage, and DevSecOps practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • SAFe Agilist (SA) or related SAFe certification.
  • Experience supporting multi-enclave DevSecOps environments.
  • Experience with container security platforms and Kubernetes-based artifact registries.
  • Experience supporting automated compliance, continuous monitoring, and vulnerability remediation workflows.
  • Relevant cloud certification (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
  • Experience with AI/ML model deployment and management.
  • Familiarity with DoD standards and policies as they apply to Site Reliability practice area.
  • Experience with site reliability engineering and performance optimization.
  • Experience with user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design.
  • Knowledge of open-source tools and services integration.
  • Experience with NIST security controls and Zero Trust compliance.
