Seeking a hands-on Principal Engineer to lead the design and delivery of cloud-native SaaS solutions leveraging Azure, Snowflake, AI, and modern web technologies. This role combines technical leadership, architecture strategy, and active software development.
Key Responsibilities
- Design scalable, secure, multi-tenant SaaS architectures on Azure.
- Lead development of microservices, APIs, and micro frontend applications using Angular, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Build and optimize data platforms using Snowflake, dbt, and Azure data services.
- Drive AI adoption across products and engineering teams.
- Implement CI/CD, DevSecOps, observability, and operational best practices.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Security, and Operations teams to guide technical strategy and modernization initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including Principal Engineer or equivalent leadership roles.
- Strong backend development experience with Java and distributed systems.
- Expertise in Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, and micro frontend architecture.
- Extensive Azure experience, including AKS, Azure Functions, API Management, and cloud-native application development.
- Deep Snowflake expertise, including governance, performance tuning, secure data sharing, and data pipeline development.
- Experience with SaaS architecture, microservices, CI/CD, DevSecOps, and Agile delivery.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Financial services, analytics, or accounting industry experience.
- Experience delivering AI, ML, NLP, or GenAI-powered products and solutions.
