We are looking for a customer-focused and technically skilled IT Technician to join the team of our exceptional client. This role is responsible for supporting end users, maintaining IT infrastructure, troubleshooting technical issues, and delivering exceptional service across a variety of technologies and environments.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on IT professional who enjoys solving problems, working directly with users, and supporting a broad range of systems including desktops, servers, networking equipment, and security technologies. This position also offers the opportunity to partner with technical and business teams on infrastructure projects, solution design, and ongoing technology improvements.

What will your day look like?

As an IT Technician, you will:

• Serve as a primary point of contact for technical support requests and escalations

• Provide timely resolution of service desk tickets submitted via phone, email, and support portals

• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and user-access issues

• Configure and deploy workstations, laptops, peripherals, and user equipment

• Provision and onboard new users, including account setup and device configuration

• Perform desktop, server, and systems administration activities

• Install, configure, and support hardware and software across the organization

• Utilize remote support tools and diagnostic utilities to resolve technical issues

• Perform hands-on troubleshooting and repairs when onsite support is required

• Administer Active Directory environments and manage user accounts, groups, and permissions

• Support DNS, DHCP, file services, print services, and related infrastructure technologies

• Assist with network infrastructure support, including switches, firewalls, and connectivity troubleshooting

• Maintain endpoint security solutions, antivirus software, and system patching activities

• Perform preventative maintenance and system health checks across managed environments

• Participate in infrastructure planning, solution design, and technology improvement initiatives

• Build strong relationships with users and stakeholders while delivering excellent customer service

• Ensure systems operate securely and efficiently while adhering to organizational standards and best practices


You will be a good fit for this role if you have:

• Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience

• 5+ years of experience supporting desktop, server, and network environments

• Experience providing Tier II and Tier III technical support

• Strong knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems

• Experience administering Windows Server environments

• Experience supporting Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file/print services

• Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and user-access issues

• Knowledge of endpoint security and antivirus management

• Experience supporting network infrastructure including switches, firewalls, and connectivity services

• Strong customer service and end-user support skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently

• Strong organizational and documentation skills

• Experience working with both Windows and macOS environments


Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with Microsoft Intune

• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments

• Experience with mobile device management (MDM) solutions

• Experience designing or implementing infrastructure solutions

• Experience supporting cloud-based technologies and services

• Certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, or related technical credentials

• Experience working in managed services, consulting, or multi-client environments

• Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and security-focused technologies
