Education: A bachelor''s or master’s degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, information systems, or other related field.
Certifications : Power BI certification.
Required Experience:
1. Programming/systems analysis experience
2. Full Systems Life Cycle experience
3. Experience in the end-to-end development of Power BI software, ensuring that the centralized hosting platform and integrated Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate) are delivered on time and within budget.
4. Experience with Technical Integrations.
5. Experience with Performance & Maintenance.
6. Experience with understanding quality assurance and integration methodologies.
General Experience:
1. Office Automation/Productivity Tools: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Visio, Word.
2. ii. Native Connectors such as: Integrate Power BI with Microsoft 365, Azure, Dynamics 365, SQL/Oracle databases, SharePoint, Salesforce, Google Analytics, APIs, custom connectors
3. iii. Communication: Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
4. Experienced Toastmasters strongly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities(KSA)
1. Must be skilled in end-to-end development of Power BI software and integrated Power Platform tools (Apps/Automate)
2. Must be skilled in working with Business Units to translate business requirements into intuitive technical designs
3. Must be skilled in Data Modeling
4. Must be skilled in DAX and M language
5. Must be skilled in data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) in Power Query and enterprise tools
6. Must be skilled in testing and supporting application software and managing the secure hosting environment within network infrastructure
7. Must be proficient in data cleanup
8. Must be skilled in making critical recommendations on the development of new code versus the reuse of existing assets to maximize efficiency
9. Solid understanding of quality assurance and integration methodologies
10. Skilled in managing the technical environment required to host dashboards securely within approved infrastructures
11. Skilled in component and data architecture design
12. Skilled in developing solutions requiring analysis and research
13. Must be able to provide clear and effective training
14. Must be highly self-motivated and directed
15. Must have strong analytical, organizational leadership, and interpersonal skills
