IT Business Analyst/Project Manager

Location: MetroPark Train station in Iselin, NJ

Introduction

This position requires a candidate with 7+ years of experience as a senior Business Analyst (BA) and Project Manager (PM). The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding and experience in Financial reconciliations, as well as experience in Swift messages, financial instruments, and project management.

Responsibilities

• Work on multiple complex projects involving various business and IT teams globally to identify requirements and perform gap analysis.
• Create project documents such as project plans, Functional Requirements Documents (FRD), Business Requirements Documents (BRD), and process flows.
• Utilize tools such as Jira, Confluence, Service Now, and MS Office for project management and collaboration.
• Collaborate with different business teams including Finance, Operations, and Compliance to ensure project alignment with internal guidelines and industry best practices.
• Manage projects end-to-end, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Business Analytics and Business Analysis.
• Strong background in Project Management.
• Experience with Payments, Financial Instruments (FI, Equities, ETDs, OTC derivatives).
• Familiarity with messaging technologies such as MQ, NDM, and sftp.
• Prior experience in Financial reconciliations and Financial Reports.
• Experience in the Banking or Financial industry.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in Financial Reports/Reconciliations Automation.
• Knowledge of Swift messages, particularly Swift payments and Cash management messages.
• Experience with different financial instruments - FI, Equities, ETDs, OTC derivatives.
• Proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence, Service Now, and MS Office.
